Dear LB, Months ago I bought and read the book by Mundis you were touting in one of your newsletters. I'm writing now to let you know the book helped me. A lot. I was able to set and accomplish a goal to write a darker, deeper short story--something I'd been afraid of doing for whatever reasons (beliefs). The good news is I wrote the story. The great news is I submitted to an anthology I wanted to get in. The amazing news is the story was accepted. You may or may not remember, but you and I have stories in a couple of German anthologies. I've always been pleased as hell and proud of that. Unfortunately my mother can't read German. Finally, she'll be able to read one in English. So, thanks Mr. Block and Mr. Mundis for helping me establish new and better beliefs. FYI - Paula's short story can be found in the anthology SMALL CRIMES from Wildside Press (Fall 2003). "This will be my second copy; I loaned the first one out and it's gone!
